In his usual place

In his usual place

One of our great and easy to please customers (cats) is back! Normally Mr Wilson (Dick) holidays in the Backpackers over summer while his Dad takes a trip to the land of Ozz.
But this year Dad (also Mr Wilson) has decided to take a mid winter break too, so Mr Wilson is here for a few weeks and we really enjoy him being with us.

It’s that time of the year when it is time to start the writings for the the Northland Business Awards. Rach has spent quite a few hours so far working on the entry and is doing a great job, if nothing else it always helps us to spot a few little things to change or alter. One that comes to mind from last year was adding Eftpos facilities so to make it easy for you, the customer, to pay.
Of course when it is time to enter your “Customer Choice” award entry we would appreciate your support. We were blown away by so many great comments last year!

Hey it's me!! Here I am!!!!

Hey it's me!! Here I am!!!!

What’s the most unlikely place that you have found your cat hiding in, maybe they just decided to have a snooze there?? Tell us about it!

This morning I found Zues in my 4wd! Yep, last night when I got home I left the back door of the vehicle open while I unloaded some things. While chatting to Rach the silver rascal sneeked into the Isuzu for a nosey…. well all fool him, I came back got the last lot of stuff out and …. yep you got it … I shut the door and poor Zues ended up sleeping in the Isuzu all night!
Lucky for me he waited to do his “business” until he was let out this morning!!

It’s the middle of May and we have another busy weekend ahead of us at Deloraine. Both the Backpackers and the Retreat are well booked (35 in total) for this weekend.
Some say the recession is biting now, but I tend to think those who want/need to have a break still are, and good on them! Those who own cats and wish to make sure their furry friends are safe make sure they are booked to the cattery.
The Deloraine seems to just get a little busier every month, and we thank those of you that support us by using us, plus an extra thanks to those who encourage family and friends to book cats in with us. It is appreciated! We now have Flynn working with us in the weekends so we need to keep him busy!

If you have not used us before but would like to come and have a look just give us a call to arrange a suitable time. 09 4363616

Max and Tui are only young but they have now stayed at the Deloraine 4 times while Mum & Dad have had to be away from home. They really love it when it’s play time in the hallway and just go mad on the scratching post! They also enjoy making a complete mess in their room for Rachael to tidy up everyday!
By coming to the cattery while so young they don’t stress and seem to just treat it as another day at the office!

Having fun!

Having fun!

These girls – Sophie & Tessa are very regular guests and just love the climbing frames in their room. More often than not when Mum comes to collect them they duck out the cat flap and try to run away from her,  as if they don’t want to go home!

We love staying at the Deloraine!
